The changing trends ,lifestyles,monetary apetite,population growth have come along with the production of chemical-reliant food .This is having catastrophic impact on the environment,climate change.rise in number of diseases like cancer etc.Local communities and governments have to revert back to organic production of food if we want to avoid forthcoming disasters.
Under our umbrella,we have a permaculture center(Ositeti permaculture) which has been experimenting conservation farming and the results are marvellous.We are taking this to the community level to teach /practise with farmers from our pastoral communities.That seeks to increase food security,improve nutrition and empowerment.This type of farming does not rely on chemicals,affordable and eco-friendly.We intend to do more trainings and awareness creation to make this a success.
